1st Annual Solace For Hope Jazz Festival (2023)

Solace For Hope™ held it’s 1st Annual SFH Jazz Festival

Solace For Hope™, a 501(c)(3) charity, held its First Annual Jazz Festival on the evening of June 24th at the Solace For Hope Mediation Garden in the Old Town Tustin area in Orange County, CA.

This amazing event brought together over 265 supporters of Solace For Hope™ and Jazz aficionados for an evening of Jazz music from some of the best Jazz players in the surrounding Orange County area and beyond.

This first-ever successful event raised over $10,000 for the Solace For Hope™ non-profit organization. Proceeds will be used to further support ongoing grief support meetings and events, including much needed resources for education and awareness. To treat those with opioid use disorder, it is crucial to expand access to evidence-based treatments, including medication-assisted therapy (MAT). MAT is a comprehensive way to address the needs of individuals that combines the use of medication (methadone, buprenorphine, or naltrexone). Due to this highly successful fundraiser, Solace For Hope will soon be offering MAT, mini scholarships, to cover the expenses of individuals seeking MAT, such as office visit fees which private insurance does not cover.

In an addition to non-stop musical entertainment, food trucks supplied food and desserts throughout the day.

Gibson Gives® donation of a Gibson 335 Jazz guitar held during the silent auction was the highlight of the evening as the grand donation.

Special thanks to those musicians that donated their time to make this such a great event including Matt Mouser of the Tijuana Dogs, Tony Guerrero, Lia Booth, Dave Murphy, Greg Vail, Nikki Rose, Gregg Young and Andrea Miller.
